Meditation Break: Release

Transcript:

Let the eyes soften so you can just barely make out the flicker of the candle flame. Let the jaw release . . . and then see if you can release it even a little more.

And now become aware of the inhale, moving in and down, offering nourishment, vitality, life.

Become aware of the exhale, moving out and up, offering release, softening.

And see if you can trace the flow of the breath for a couple more rounds, perhaps imagining that the breath has a color to it, and you can see that color moving in and down with the inhale . . .

. . . and out and up with the exhale.

And as you finish this very short practice,take a mental rove around your body to see if there's any place else you can soften, even if it's just a little.

And let the exhale soft in there just a little.
